On September 24, 2025, at the Yunqi Conference, XPENG Motors and Alibaba Cloud inked a cooperation pact focused on post-quantum security technology. Leveraging the post-quantum security algorithm project as a foundation, both entities will embark on collaborative research and development endeavors within the automotive security algorithm domain. The aim is to furnish users with services that are not only safer but also more dependable. Looking ahead, this technology is poised to expand its reach into the security protection spheres of applications like AI and V2X. Presently, the latest XPENG P7 model has already been outfitted with post-quantum security technology, and the pertinent functions are set to be officially rolled out alongside the new iteration of the XPENG APP in October of this year.
