On September 24, during the Cloud Town Conference, XPENG Motors and Alibaba Cloud joined hands to sign a cooperation agreement focused on post-quantum security technology. The two entities are set to embark on collaborative research and development endeavors, aiming to broaden their partnership in the realm of automotive security algorithms. This collaboration is centered around a post-quantum security algorithm project, with the goal of delivering safer and more dependable services to users. At present, the brand-new XPENG P7 model has already integrated this cutting-edge technology. Moreover, relevant features are slated to be rolled out alongside the latest version of the XPENG APP in October. Looking ahead, both parties have outlined plans to extend the application of post-quantum security encryption technology to various domains, including AI, V2X (Vehicle-to-Everything), chips, robotics, and even flying cars.
