Recently, numerous regions in southern China have been inundated with heavy rainfall as a consequence of typhoon impacts, resulting in severe urban flooding. Amidst these challenging conditions, a man in Guangdong Province was observed repeatedly driving his Yangwang U8 back and forth on a street that was heavily flooded, an act that swiftly garnered widespread public attention. According to reports, the Yangwang U8 is designed with emergency buoyancy features. When the water depth surpasses 1 meter, the vehicle automatically activates its floating mode, enabling it to traverse through water for up to 30 minutes without significant water ingress into the cabin. Nevertheless, the driver's actions have raised concerns and are suspected of constituting dangerous driving.
