The European Automobile Manufacturers' Association (ACEA) recently published its "Global and EU Automotive Industry Economic and Market Report for the First Half of 2025," revealing contrasting trends across global automotive markets. Most notably, the Chinese market demonstrated significant growth, whereas the European market grappled with declining demand and production pressures.

Data from the report indicates that global car registrations rose by 5% in the first half of the year, totaling 37.4 million units. Bolstered by supportive policy measures, the Chinese market experienced a remarkable 12% increase in registrations. Meanwhile, the North American market saw a modest growth of 2.5%. In contrast, the European market as a whole contracted by 2.4%, with the EU market specifically registering a 1.9% decline. Nevertheless, markets in Turkey, EFTA countries, and the UK maintained stability during this period.
