Data released by the China Automobile Dealers Association reveals that in August 2025, the retail sales volume of heavy-duty trucks soared to 67,600 units. This marks a significant year-on-year surge of 65.65% and a month-on-month uptick of 3.89%. Specifically, tractor truck sales soared to 39,700 units, reflecting an 83.19% year-on-year spike and a 13.04% month-on-month increase. Over the first eight months of 2025, the cumulative retail sales of heavy-duty trucks reached 491,700 units, showcasing a robust 24.92% year-on-year growth. Meanwhile, cumulative tractor truck sales climbed to 267,300 units, marking a 26.67% year-on-year rise.
