On September 23, reports surfaced indicating that Avatr Technology had recently unveiled its Strategic 2.0 Plan and, concurrently, announced the launch of the Avatr 07 2026 model. Prior to this, Wang Hui, Vice President of Changan Automobile, had stepped into the role of Chairman of Avatr Technology, succeeding Zhu Huarong. In his new capacity, Wang Hui is entrusted with the full responsibility for strategic planning, operational management, and global business operations.

Zhu Huarong, Chairman of Changan Automobile, clarified that the personnel adjustments were made after comprehensive deliberation. He also mentioned that, moving forward, each business brand and division would operate autonomously. The Avatr Strategic 2.0 Plan outlines ambitious objectives, aiming to achieve global sales of 400,000 units and an annual revenue of 100 billion yuan by 2027. Furthermore, the plan envisions doubling global sales to 800,000 units by 2030.

To realize these targets, Avatr intends to strengthen its collaboration with Huawei and CATL. The collaboration includes plans to jointly introduce five upgraded models by 2026 and a cumulative total of 17 models across all categories by 2030. The Avatr 07 2026 model, marking the inaugural release under the Strategic 2.0 framework, is outfitted with six cutting-edge technologies. These include Huawei's Qiankun ADS 4 and the HarmonyOS cockpit interaction system. The model is officially priced starting at 219,900 yuan.
