On September 23, a press conference for the 2025 World Intelligent Connected Vehicles Conference took place. During the conference, it was disclosed that Beijing manufactured 1.145 million automobiles in 2024, showing a 13% year-on-year growth. In the first half of this year, the proportion of new passenger cars in Beijing equipped with L2-level intelligent assisted driving systems reached 68.3%, surpassing the national average of 62.1%. Su Guobin, Deputy Director of the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Economy and Information Technology, mentioned that Beijing is set to persist in advancing the high-standard construction of the 'Dual Intelligence' city. This includes driving forward the Phase 4.0 construction, broadening the reach of the 'Vehicle-Road-Cloud Integration' infrastructure, backing the large-scale deployment of high-level autonomous driving vehicles, and nurturing the growth of connected vehicles with assisted driving capabilities.
