Leapmotor has declared that its latest flagship offering, the Leapmotor D19, is set to make its worldwide premiere on October 16. On the evening of September 12, unobscured spy shots of the real vehicle surfaced online. The Leapmotor D19, representing Leapmotor's biggest and most upscale SUV yet, is part of the luxury D-series lineup. Back in December of the previous year, Leapmotor's founder, Zhu Jiangming, disclosed that the company planned to roll out a total of thirteen to fourteen models over the next three years, spanning four series—A, B, C, and D—and catering to the market segment priced between 60,000 and 300,000 yuan. Among these, the D-series offerings are designed to exude ultra-luxury attributes while still being accessible in terms of price, with the cost bracket set between 200,000 and 300,000 yuan. This July, Cao Li, Senior Vice President of Leapmotor, unveiled that the D-series SUV marks Leapmotor's inaugural flagship product aimed at the 300,000-yuan price tier, being positioned as a full-sized SUV outfitted with cutting-edge technologies. At present, the vehicle is undergoing summer testing.
