Early in September, Jaguar Land Rover detected the cyberattack and has been diligently providing updates on its progress in handling the situation. This week, the company informed approximately 33,000 employees worldwide that the production line continues to be impacted, and has extended the production suspension period until September 24, 2025. On the morning of September 19, Jaguar Land Rover issued a response, stating that following the cyberattack, the IT team at its headquarters, in conjunction with third-party experts, is methodically and securely restarting global systems, encompassing both production and the supply chain. Presently, the company is conducting real-time assessments and thorough investigations into potential risks across all facets of its operations. So far, there has been no discernible impact on deliveries to the Chinese market.
