Xiaomi Automobile Technology Co., Ltd. has officially declared an immediate recall of a specific batch of SU7 standard edition electric vehicles. These vehicles were manufactured from February 6, 2024, through August 30, 2025, with the total number of affected units reaching 116,887 and encompassing three distinct vehicle models. The root cause of this recall stems from a potential safety concern: when the L2 highway pilot - assist driving function is activated, certain vehicles may exhibit inadequate capabilities in terms of recognizing, warning, or responding to highly exceptional scenarios, thereby presenting safety risks.

To address this issue and ensure the safety of its customers, Xiaomi Automobile Technology Co., Ltd. will carry out free software upgrades for all the recalled vehicles using Over - the - Air (OTA) technology. This approach aims to eliminate the identified hazards and enhance the overall safety and performance of the affected electric vehicles.
