The most recent manufacturer survey data released by the China Automobile Dealers Association reveals that the retail targets set by leading manufacturers, which make up nearly 80% of the overall market sales, have witnessed both year-on-year and month-on-month growth this month. Taking into account the policy support and the surge in demand during the peak season, it is projected that the retail market volume for precisely defined passenger vehicles in September could reach roughly 2.15 million units. This figure indicates a 6.5% month-on-month increase and a 2.0% year-on-year rise. Among these, retail sales of new energy vehicles are forecasted to hit approximately 1.25 million units, with the penetration rate potentially soaring to 58.1%, marking a new all-time high.
