From September 11 to 14, the 21st China Automotive Industry Development (TEDA) International Forum took place in Tianjin’s Binhai New Area. During the event, Xu Jian, Horizon’s Chief Ecology Officer, highlighted that autonomous driving is poised to hit a pivotal turning point by 2025. Over the next ten years, he predicted, LiDAR costs will drop by a factor of 1,000, while chip computing power will surge by the same magnitude.
