On September 16, 2025, Li Xiang, the CEO of Li Auto, made a post stating that the present five-seat all-electric SUV market is primarily characterized by two distinct styles, exemplified by the Model Y and Xiaomi YU7. However, he emphasized that the Li Auto i6 is set to introduce a fresh, third alternative.
The new vehicle boasts a one-of-a-kind design with a two-tone body, positioning itself as a "groundbreaking new form of five-seat SUV." It measures 4.95 meters in length and offers a longitudinal space that stretches over 3.3 meters.
In terms of its powertrain, the Li Auto i6 comes equipped as standard with a 5C lithium iron phosphate battery and an 800V high-voltage architecture. This combination enables the vehicle to achieve a range of 500 kilometers with just a 10-minute charge.
When it comes to performance, the Li Auto i6 is available in two versions: a rear-wheel-drive single-motor model with 250kW of power, and a four-wheel-drive dual-motor model that delivers a combined 150kW+250kW of power.
The official launch of the vehicle is slated for September 26, with an ambitious target of achieving monthly sales volumes ranging from 9,000 to 10,000 units.
