On Monday, Tesla's CEO, Elon Musk, revealed that the company's stock price experienced a notable surge following his acquisition of Tesla shares in the open market. This marked his first such purchase since February 2020. Specifically, on the previous Friday, Musk bought 2.57 million shares at prices fluctuating between $371.9 and $396.359 per share, amounting to a total investment of approximately $1 billion. This move is widely perceived by traders as a strong vote of confidence in Tesla's future prospects. During early trading on Monday, Tesla's stock price jumped by over 6%, transforming its year-to-date performance from a decline to a gain. Notably, this latest share purchase represents Musk's largest to date, eclipsing his previous acquisition on February 14, 2020, when he bought roughly 200,000 shares for about $10 million.
