On September 13, eight departments, spearheaded by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, jointly unveiled the "Work Plan for Sustaining Growth in the Automotive Industry (2025 - 2026)." This comprehensive plan outlines a series of strategic measures aimed at bolstering the industry's stability and competitiveness.

It emphasizes the need for intensified cost and price surveillance, ensuring that automotive products remain competitively priced without compromising on quality. Moreover, the plan underscores the importance of rigorous oversight over product production consistency, guaranteeing that vehicles meet stringent safety and performance standards.

A pivotal aspect of the plan is the call for major automakers to honor their payment term commitments to suppliers. To facilitate this, a dedicated "Feedback Window for Major Automakers to Uphold Payment Term Commitments" will be established. This platform will serve as a conduit for suppliers to voice their concerns and seek amicable resolutions, thereby fostering a more collaborative and transparent supply chain ecosystem. Additionally, industry bodies will be guided to devise standardized practices for automakers' timely settlement of supplier invoices, promoting financial health across the sector.

Furthermore, the plan takes a firm stance against online malpractices within the automotive industry. It mandates the regulation of data and information dissemination, curbing the spread of misinformation that could mislead consumers. Stringent actions will be taken against deceptive advertising, commercial slander, and other unethical practices, thereby upholding the integrity of the market and safeguarding consumer interests. Through these concerted efforts, the plan envisions a thriving, orderly, and sustainable automotive industry landscape.
