On September 12, news emerged that, over a hundred days after Hozon Auto's brand operator, Hozon New Energy Automobile Co., Ltd., announced its bankruptcy reorganization, the first creditors' meeting for this bankruptcy reorganization case took place online on the morning of the same day.
The administrator revealed that as of August 31, a staggering 1,631 creditors had submitted their claims to the court, with the total claimed amount soaring past 26 billion yuan. Among these claims, 1,340 have undergone review and been confirmed, summing up to approximately 5.1 billion yuan.
Furthermore, by the end of August 2025, Hozon New Energy and its affiliated companies still had outstanding obligations to over 5,000 employees. These obligations included unpaid wages, economic compensation, subsidies and benefits, reimbursement payments, as well as housing provident fund contributions, with the total amounting to roughly 460 million yuan.
