Li Bin, the chairman of NIO, recently made a groundbreaking disclosure: NIO has embarked on a collaborative journey with McLaren, the renowned British supercar marque. At present, McLaren is under the stewardship of Abu Dhabi's investment powerhouse, CYVN Holdings. NIO has extended its technical expertise to McLaren, a move that has translated into substantial revenues from technical services.

Li Bin elaborated that NIO started to reap the rewards of its technical service collaboration with McLaren in the first quarter of this year, with the earnings witnessing a notable surge in the second quarter. The inception of this partnership dates back to the first quarter of the current year, and since then, the technical synergy between the two entities has deepened considerably. Nevertheless, Li Bin also cautioned that the revenue stream remains somewhat volatile, prone to certain fluctuations.
