In the beginning of September 2025, Xiaomi Auto made an official announcement regarding the recruitment of Fabian Schmölz, the ex-Chief Exterior Designer of Lamborghini, who has taken on the role of Head of European Exterior Design. Schmölz was at the helm of the design process for Lamborghini's Temerario hybrid supercar and the Lanzador concept supercar. Moreover, he played a significant part in the creation of numerous iconic models during his tenure at Porsche. By bringing Schmölz on board, Xiaomi Auto aims to bolster its design prowess, establish a solid groundwork for its foray into the European market slated for 2027, and expedite the global expansion of its design team.
