On September 5, 2025, at the IAA Mobility 2025 Expo, Qualcomm and BMW made a joint splash by launching the Snapdragon Ride Pilot driving assistance system. Built around Qualcomm's advanced chips, this system comes complete with a software stack that's been co-developed by the two industry giants. Its debut will take place in the all-new BMW iX3 model. This system stands out for its exceptional safety features and remarkable scalability, having already undergone rigorous validation in more than 60 countries across the globe. Looking ahead, there are plans to extend its reach to over 100 countries by 2026. Moreover, the system is now accessible to automakers and Tier 1 suppliers on a global scale.
