On September 3, it was revealed that Tesla's sales in key European electric vehicle markets have continued to dwindle, leading to a notable loss of market share. According to data released by Germany's Federal Motor Transport Authority on Wednesday, Tesla's new vehicle registrations in Germany dropped by 39% year-on-year last month, with a cumulative decline of 56% in the first eight months of this year. Furthermore, Tesla's sales in France, Belgium, Denmark, and Sweden also witnessed declines in August, with Norway being the sole exception, where registrations increased by 21%. Despite Tesla's underwhelming performance, overall registrations of battery electric vehicles in Germany surged by 46% year-on-year in August, and sales of battery electric vehicles across Europe rose by 26% year-on-year in the first seven months. In stark contrast, Tesla's sales decreased by 40% during the same period.
