smart China has officially announced the upcoming launch of its latest all-electric two-seater model, the smart spirit 2, scheduled for 2026. Drawing inspiration from the classic smart fortwo, this model not only preserves its core identity but also introduces upgrades, ensuring the continuation of the brand's iconic design language. Conceived by the esteemed Mercedes-Benz design team, the smart spirit 2 is positioned as an A0-class pure electric vehicle, slated for production in China with global market ambitions. Powering this new vehicle is Geely's advanced new-generation platform, offering a single-motor drivetrain capable of achieving a maximum range of 300 kilometers. Additionally, it supports fast charging technology, addressing modern drivers' need for efficiency. To enhance the driving experience, the smart spirit 2 will be equipped with an AMD chip, facilitating intelligent interaction features and an advanced L2-level assisted driving system.
