On Wednesday, LG Energy Solution, a leading South Korean battery manufacturer, announced the signing of two battery supply agreements with Germany's Mercedes-Benz AG, totaling a capacity of 107 gigawatt-hours (GWh). Under these agreements, LG Energy Solution will directly furnish 32 GWh of batteries to Mercedes-Benz, while an additional 75 GWh will be supplied to the automaker's subsidiaries. Further specifics regarding the supply arrangements were not made public.
