In response to grievances voiced by potential YU7 car owners regarding the tight payment deadline, Li Xiaoshuang, Vice President of Xiaomi Automobile, has issued a statement. The car owners expressed concern that they are given just two days to inspect and finalize payment for their vehicles after they go off-line, a timeframe they find challenging to accommodate, fearing that their orders might be canceled as a result. Li Xiaoshuang assured that the matter would be thoroughly investigated. It is noted that Xiaomi Automobile implements a policy requiring certain users to make their final payment in advance, primarily targeting user groups deemed at higher risk of delayed delivery or vehicle pickup.
