On August 25, the first model, H5, from the HarmonyOS Smart Mobility brand Shangjie—a collaborative effort between Huawei and SAIC—commenced pre-orders with an introductory price of 169,800 yuan. Within an impressive 18 hours of opening pre-sales, the model secured an astonishing 50,000 pre-orders. As the maiden mass-produced vehicle resulting from the partnership between the two titans, the Shangjie H5 is set to make its official debut on September 23.
