This innovative strategy involves capturing videos of employees performing various tasks, enabling the robot to learn actions like object manipulation and T-shirt folding. Initially, the company relied on motion capture suits and virtual reality equipment for data collection, but now believes that video data offers a more scalable and efficient means of training. Experts caution, however, that relying solely on video data to equip robots with the ability to comprehend and replicate human actions presents substantial challenges and may necessitate a harmonious blend of simulations and real-world practice to enhance skill acquisition.
