On August 25, the China Passenger Car Association unveiled its insightful report on intelligent and connected vehicles for June 2025. According to the report, the installation rate of AEB (Automatic Emergency Braking system) in passenger cars from January to June was notably robust, achieving an overall rate of 64.4%. Specifically, passenger cars priced between 160,000 and 240,000 yuan boasted an installation rate of 75.4%, hinting at further potential for growth. Furthermore, the AEB installation rate in the new energy passenger car market soared even higher, reaching 67.1%. This advancement can be attributed to the integration of multi-dimensional technologies and the optimization of hardware costs, both of which have collectively fueled the enhancement of AEB capabilities.
