Lu Weibing, President of Xiaomi Group, expressed confidence that the company will meet its annual delivery target of 350,000 Xiaomi vehicles. Notably, in the second quarter, revenues from innovative segments including Xiaomi's smart electric vehicles and AI surged by 234% year-on-year, amounting to 21.3 billion yuan. Operating losses in these areas were significantly reduced to 300 million yuan, and the company anticipates achieving single-quarter profitability in the second half of the year. Despite this progress, investments in automotive and other innovative businesses have totaled over 30 billion yuan from 2022 to the first half of 2025, resulting in substantial overall business losses.
