On August 15, Tianyancha App disclosed that Thalys Automobile Co., Ltd. has recently published a patent titled "A Method, Device, Equipment, and Medium for Early Warning of Battery Pack Undercarriage Scraping." This patent focuses on the integration of driving status data, road environment information, and actual battery pack ground clearance to establish a dynamic safe ground clearance calculation model. This model determines the safe ground clearance of the battery pack by analyzing the aforementioned factors. By comparing the actual ground clearance to the safe ground clearance, a ground clearance ratio is derived. This ratio, along with vehicle status, road environment data, and safe ground clearance, is then fed into an undercarriage scraping risk prediction model to assess the likelihood of undercarriage scraping. Based on the ground clearance ratio and scraping probability, the risk level of undercarriage scraping for the battery pack is determined, triggering appropriate early warning signals. This approach ensures real-time monitoring and proactive early warning of battery pack undercarriage scraping risks, significantly enhancing the accuracy and timeliness of warnings, ultimately improving driving safety.
