On July 23, the inaugural day of the First International Low-Altitude Economy Expo, Volant Aerospace, Pan Pacific Co., Ltd. (Thailand), and China Aviation Technology International Engineering Corporation (AVIC Engineering) jointly inked a tripartite cooperation agreement. Under the terms of this agreement, Pan Pacific has agreed to procure 500 VE25-100 Tianxing electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) aircraft from Volant Aerospace. These aircraft will be utilized for short-haul inter-island and intra-island transportation, as well as emergency rescue operations in Thailand, the Maldives, and other regions. Meanwhile, AVIC Engineering will take charge of providing low-altitude infrastructure support in countries and regions along the Belt and Road Initiative. This landmark order, valued at $1.75 billion, stands as the largest single international procurement order ever received by China for high-end passenger eVTOLs.
