Xiaomi has unveiled its groundbreaking 100W power adapter, model MDY-18-EW, which has successfully obtained national certification. This adapter was filed by Salcomp Technology (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd. and manufactured by Xiaomi Communications Technology Co., Ltd. Historically, Xiaomi and REDMI devices have predominantly featured 67W, 90W, or 120W fast charging capabilities. However, according to tech enthusiasts, the REDMI K80 Pro is poised to become Xiaomi's first smartphone to embrace 100W wired fast charging technology. Despite bundling a 120W charger, the REDMI K80 Pro boasts an impressive battery capacity of 7410mAh. Looking ahead, Xiaomi is anticipated to launch several flagship smartphones in the latter half of 2025, with some models likely to integrate 100W fast charging support, signaling a significant leap in mobile charging technology.
