Recently, police in Jiujiang, Jiangxi Province, successfully unraveled a case involving the unauthorized use of mobile phones to replicate bank card information and remotely withdraw funds. A tip-off led to the discovery of a criminal gang that was employing unconventional methods to withdraw and transfer fraudulent funds from a bank in Chengzi Town, Chaisang District. Upon investigation, it was revealed that the suspects employed two mobile phones to copy bank card details using Near Field Communication (NFC) technology, enabling them to withdraw cash and make unauthorized purchases without the need for a password. The police swiftly identified and apprehended two suspects, confiscating three mobile phones and the stolen funds at the scene. This operation uncovered illicit fund transfers amounting to over 800,000 yuan.
