Tecno, a subsidiary of Transsion Holdings, has introduced the PHANTOM Ultimate G Fold, which claims the title of the world's slimmest tri-fold concept phone. When folded, it measures 11.49mm in thickness, but unfolds to an astonishing 3.49mm, showcasing a sprawling 9.94-inch display. This innovative device features a dual-hinge design, setting it apart from the Z-fold format of Huawei's Mate X series. The hinges, comprising a small waterdrop hinge and a main hinge, ensure a smooth and secure folding mechanism. However, the core specifications of this groundbreaking device have yet to be disclosed.
