Shanghai Shide Technology Co., Ltd. has entered into a significant procurement agreement with Autocraft, a company headquartered in the United Arab Emirates. Under the terms of the agreement, Autocraft will invest $1 billion to procure 350 E20 electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) aircraft, marking a new milestone as the largest single order in China's burgeoning eVTOL sector. The E20, a tilt-rotor electric aircraft developed by Shide Technology, is designed to carry one pilot and four passengers, boasting a cruise speed of 260 km/h and a maximum range of 200 km.

Incorporating multiple independent power systems and distributed electric propulsion technology, the E20 ensures safe and stable flight operations. This strategic partnership aims to propel the commercial deployment of the E20 in the Middle East and North Africa, encompassing applications such as low-altitude tourism and urban air mobility. It is anticipated that this collaboration will expedite the adoption of low-altitude travel modes in the region.
