Autocraft, a company based in the United Arab Emirates, has sealed a $1 billion deal with Chinese firm Shide Technology for the purchase of 350 E20 electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) aircrafts. This landmark agreement represents the largest single order for Chinese-made eVTOL aircrafts to date. The E20, a cutting-edge model developed by Shide Technology, boasts a design range of 200 kilometers, a maximum speed of 320 kilometers per hour, and the capacity to carry up to 5 passengers. Ideal for inter-city and intra-city tourism, commuting, and various other applications, the E20 is set to revolutionize air travel. Autocraft and Shide Technology will collaborate closely to secure airworthiness certification and facilitate the commercial operation of these aircrafts across the Middle East and North Africa.
