Apple's global iPhone shipments witnessed a modest uptick in the second quarter, primarily fueled by heightened demand in various regions worldwide. However, the Chinese market encountered a downturn. According to preliminary figures from IDC's Worldwide Quarterly Mobile Phone Tracker, Apple shipped 46.4 million iPhones globally during the quarter, marking a 1.5% increase from the 45.7 million units shipped in the same period last year. Despite the hurdles faced in the Chinese market, Apple sustained steady shipment growth, underpinned by robust demand in other global markets.
