Recently, both Romoss and Anker have announced the recall of specific product batches due to the potential risk of spontaneous combustion in their battery cells, igniting widespread public concern regarding the safety of power banks. In response, the Civil Aviation Administration has introduced new 3C regulations, which prohibit the carriage of power banks on aircraft that lack 3C markings or are part of recalled batches. Additionally, the Wuxi Market Supervision Bureau is currently conducting an investigation into Amperex Technology, the supplier of the battery cells in question.
