Furthermore, a revolutionary new Vision Pro model is slated for release in 2028, boasting a fresh design, superior performance, a more affordable price tag, and reduced weight. The more affordable Vision Air, which is expected to enter mass production in 2027, promises a 40% weight reduction and will utilize iPhone chips. Additionally, Apple Glasses, designed for the consumer market, are anticipated to commence mass production in 2027, with larger shipment volumes and advanced features like voice control and gesture recognition. The first XR smart glasses featuring an integrated display screen are projected to enter mass production in 2028, leveraging cutting-edge display technology. Notably, a previously developed headset accessory requiring connection to a mobile phone or computer has been discontinued due to weight concerns.
