The WeChat HarmonyOS application has officially been added to Huawei's AppGallery for PC, boasting over 10,000 installations. This iteration of the app supports essential communication features such as audio and video calls, Moments browsing, reading official account articles, viewing video content, conducting searches, and accessing mini-programs. Rumors suggest that it is a cross-platform development, hinting at potential future alignment with Linux version functionalities. Earlier this year in January, the same version was made available on Huawei's mobile HarmonyOS AppGallery, equipped with additional features like WeChat Pay and live streaming, carrying the version number 1.0.7.39.
