Apple's forthcoming wireless earbuds, the AirPods Pro 3, are likely to be delayed until 2026, diverging from initial projections of a late 2025 launch. According to analyst Jeff Pu, Apple's hardware strategy in 2025 will predominantly concentrate on the Apple Watch series and the HomePod tablet. Despite Mark Gurman's prediction in February of this year that the new AirPods would incorporate built-in heart rate monitoring and arrive soon, supply chain expert Ming-Chi Kuo believes significant upgrades to the AirPods series are improbable before 2026. Should Jeff Pu's forecast materialize, the AirPods Pro 3 will adhere to a four-year update cycle, anticipated to debut alongside the Apple Watch Series 12 and an enhanced Vision Pro product.
