Nokia has been named the lead partner in the PROACTIF project, a European Union-funded initiative dedicated to the development of cutting-edge drone systems for emergency management and public safety. Supported by the European Chips Act, this ambitious project unites 42 institutions spanning 13 countries. By 2035, it is anticipated to generate a substantial revenue of €90 million and yield a plethora of innovative products and patents. Nokia aims to leverage drones in critical infrastructure scenarios for emergency response and public safety, while fostering advancements in related technology research, development, and collaboration.
