Samsung Electronics is in negotiations to introduce a non-Google AI service provider to its Galaxy smartphone series. Bloomberg reports that Samsung is in discussions with the American startup Perplexity AI, aiming to integrate Perplexity's AI assistant service into the upcoming Galaxy S26 series, set for release in the first half of 2026. Additionally, the two parties have explored the feasibility of pre-installing Perplexity apps and assistants on Samsung's new devices, along with embedding the company's search functionality within Samsung's web browser.
