Xiaomi's Q1 2025 performance report highlights not only robust growth in its smartphone and electric vehicle sectors but also a remarkable surge in revenue from its key home appliance division. Notably, air conditioner shipments surpassed 1.1 million units, marking a year-on-year increase of 65%. Shipments of refrigerators and washing machines also soared to new heights. During Xiaomi's 15th-anniversary strategic new product launch event, Lei Jun revealed that the home appliance business has emerged as a strategic priority for the company, enjoying six consecutive years of rapid expansion. In the first quarter, Xiaomi ranked fourth in China for air conditioners, refrigerators, and washing machines, led the online sales charts for water purifiers, and secured the third position for TVs. Furthermore, Xiaomi's smart home appliance factory has successfully completed initial power supply and is anticipated to commence product deliveries in the second half of the year, facilitating self-research and production of items such as air conditioners, refrigerators, and washing machines.
