On May 22, the 2025 Unified Fast Charging Standard (UFCS) Industry Development Conference convened in Shenzhen, witnessing a significant milestone in the domestic fast charging industry. OPPO, Huawei, vivo, and Honor collectively inked a mutual authorization agreement for the UFCS, fostering a deeper level of collaboration. Concurrently, the UFCS 2.0 standard was officially unveiled, accompanied by the launch of the 40W Unified Fast Charging Interoperability. This marks the commencement of a new era in the establishment of a cohesive fast charging ecosystem in China.

The UFCS 2.0 standard boasts several technical advancements. It achieves 40W power interoperability without the need for authentication, thereby enhancing user convenience. Additionally, it introduces the innovative "reverse charging" feature and elevates the active adjustment of adapter power to a mandatory component, further solidifying its position as a leading standard in the fast charging landscape.
