On May 2, Taobao's official Weibo account announced that its instant retail service, "Taobao Flash Purchase," had become available nationwide four days earlier than planned. Customers nationwide can now access substantial discounts on food delivery orders through the dedicated entry on the app's homepage. These discounts encompass a wide range of categories, including food, supermarkets and convenience stores, pharmaceuticals, clothing, general merchandise, mobile phones, and digital products. This initiative represents an enhancement over the "Hourly Delivery" service, which was originally scheduled for a nationwide rollout on May 6 but was brought forward due to overwhelming market enthusiasm.
