According to Canalys' latest research report, global smartphone shipments amounted to 296.9 million units in the first quarter of 2025, reflecting a marginal year-over-year growth of 0.2%. While the markets in mainland China and the United States demonstrated robust performance, consumer caution in India, Europe, the Middle East, and other regions has dampened overall growth. In terms of market share, Samsung, Apple, Xiaomi, vivo, and OPPO secured the top five positions, with shipments totaling 60.5 million, 55 million, 41.8 million, 22.9 million, and 22.7 million units, respectively.
