Apple is poised to introduce a significant interface overhaul with iOS 19, marking the most substantial change since iOS 7. The company aims to integrate the visual language of visionOS, fostering a seamless cross-device operating experience. The new system will incorporate semi-transparent elements inspired by Vision Pro, redesign window styles, and introduce novel window and button types. Apple anticipates unveiling iOS 19, iPadOS 19, and macOS 16 at the WWDC conference in June 2025, achieving a high level of consistency in interface elements across iPhone, iPad, and Mac. Following the WWDC keynote, the initial developer betas of iOS 19 and iPadOS 19 will be released, with the official releases coinciding with the launch of the iPhone 17 series in September 2025.
