Xiaomi announced on Thursday that its Android smartphones sold in India will now come pre-installed with the app store of Indian fintech giant PhonePe. Traditionally, Xiaomi's Android devices in India have featured both Google Play Store and Xiaomi's own GetApps store. However, in this collaboration with PhonePe, the GetApps store will be replaced by PhonePe's Indus app store, while the Google Play Store will remain pre-installed.
