CounterPoint Research's latest data reveals that global smartphone sales remained relatively stable in the fourth quarter of 2024, with minimal shifts in operating system market shares. Within the Chinese market, HarmonyOS has consistently outperformed Apple's iOS, achieving a 19% market share compared to iOS's 17% for four consecutive quarters. This performance firmly positions HarmonyOS as the second largest mobile operating system in China, trailing only Android, whose market share has gradually declined to 64%.
