Market research firm CounterPoint has released a report indicating that global smartphone sales remained stable during the fourth quarter of 2024. While Android's global market share stood at 74%, it experienced a significant drop to historic lows in the US and Indian markets. In contrast, the market shares of iOS and HarmonyOS underwent notable shifts. HarmonyOS maintained a steady 4% global share and surged to 19% in the Chinese market, outpacing iOS for four consecutive quarters. Despite Android's continued dominance in the Chinese market, HarmonyOS demonstrates robust growth potential.
