In the fourth quarter of 2024, the combined production of the world's top six smartphone manufacturers reached 335 million units, marking a 9.2% increase compared to the previous quarter. Apple soared to the top spot with a production volume of 80.1 million units, representing a significant 57.4% increase from the previous quarter. Samsung followed in second place, producing 52.4 million units despite a 10.6% decrease from the prior quarter. Xiaomi came in third, producing 44.5 million units and experiencing a modest 4.7% increase from the previous quarter. OPPO placed fourth with 36.8 million units, noting a slight 1.1% decrease. vivo secured the fifth position with 28.6 million units, up 5.9% from the previous quarter. Lastly, Transsion took the sixth spot, producing 27 million units and also experiencing a 5.9% increase.
